Joe and Shelley are a husband and wife team of artisans from St. Catharines who create with wood, stones and other rescued, random finds.
They are interested in creatively reusing materials to give them a second life and keep things out of our landfills. They are inspired by the material that finds its way into their hands... translating to a variety of items from kitchen utensils and serving boards, to birdhouses, tealight holders, and pencil drawings!
Joe and Shelley are lifelong residents of Niagara and like to take an active role in our community to hopefully make a positive difference in the lives of people they meet. They are regular volunteers at Community Care, the ReStore, the Christian Benefit Shop and Ina Grafton.
"Volunteering is a great way to see what the needs in the community are and to lend a hand in meeting those needs."
It also gives them a chance to meet many more members of our community!
